Mari Millery

Associate Research Scientist of Sociomedical Sciences,  Mailman School of Public Health


Dr. Mari Millery works in several areas of applied social science research, including program evaluation and quality improvement, HIV provider education, computer use and informatics in health care, and community capacity building. Dr. Millery is the director of evaluation for the New York/New Jersey AIDS Education and Training Center and for the Partnership for Family Health. She is the principal investigator of the HIV quality of care study that analyzes quality indicator data for a consortium of HIV care settings, and serves as a co-investigator of a study on an internet-based tool for HIV providers. Her dissertation analyzed critical thinking and adaptation to computers in the workplace. Integrating qualitative and quantitative research methods, Dr. Millery has also published work in the areas of substance abuse treatment and moral development.
