| Dr. Manisha Desai's research focuses on methods for analyzing genomic data such as loss of heterozygosity data as well as gene expression data. She has established an
inter-disciplinary working group with the objective of learning about and developing methods for analyzing microarray data. In addition, Dr. Desai has contributed to research in the areas of cancer, cancer epidemiology, oral health, cystic fibrosis, and psychiatric epidemiology, and collaborates with many researchers in the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center. In 2002, Dr. Desai was awarded the Calderone Prize for Junior Faculty Achievement.
