and:
Deputy Director, Monitoring, Evaluation and Research Unit, International Center for AIDS Care and Treatment Programs (ICAP)

Dr. Elul is assistant professor of clinical Epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health. She is engaged in several operations research studies related to the scale-up of comprehensive HIV services in resource-limited settings as part of her work at the International Center for AIDS Care and Treatment Program. Prior to joining Columbia University, Dr. Elul was a program associate at the Population Council in New York and New Delhi where she was responsible for clinical, social science, and community-based research and evaluation on abortion and other reproductive health issues in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Much of that work focused on making reproductive health technologies more accessible to women and simpler to access in developing countries.
