OTHER INFORMATION = Prerequisites: organic chemistry and some biological science. The various methods for monitoring human exposure to environmental and occupational chemicals will be discussed with the major focus on genotoxic agents. Methods for monitoring exposure to kidney and immune system toxins will also be discussed. Details of specific laboratory methodology and application to epidemiologic studies will be covered. Format will be lectures and discussion of original research papers. Evaluations will be based on midterm and final examinations and presentation.
