Research interests
Background:
Dr. Stephen Arpadi is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics
and Epidemiology. He received his Medical Degree from George
Washington University and a Masters in Epidemiology from theMailman
School of Public Health, Columbia University. He completed training
in Pediatrics at the Children’s National Medical Center in
Washington, DC and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the HIV Center for
Behavioral and Clinical Studies at Columbia University. He is the
Associate Medical Director of the Comprehensive HIV Care Center at
St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City and is the
Director of the Program for Children and Families, a
multidisciplinary treatment program for children and families
affected by AIDS/HIV. He has conducted research in growth, nutrition,
and metabolism of pediatric HIV infection and has collaborated on
multiple studies of antiviral therapies for children with HIV/AIDS.
