Biography:
Dr. Gustavo Palacios' work focuses on the development of new tools to diagnose viral agents and detect new agents (pathogen discovery). Additionally, he applies bioinformatic tools to characterize viral infectious agents in terms of their pathogenesis and molecular epidemiolgy.
