Selected New York City Activities
Urbanism and Community Health   
The program in Urbanism and Community Health is a track in the Department of Sociomedical Sciences that is directed to students wishing to learn how to understand cities and the manner in which urban life promotes health or creates disease.

Supplementary Education   
I serve as the executive director of a program that is located at Teachers College, Columbia University that is attempting to promote the idea that learning for youngsters occurs in many places including the classroom. The project is design to engage members of the Harlem Community to create and support opportunities for out of school learning for young people in that community.
