| Dr. Namerow's research has focussed on the causes and consequences of teenage pregnancy, and on the determinants of women's reproductive decisions. Her research has also included evaluations of programs designed to meet the reproductive health needs of traditionally under-served populations. She has published many papers in these areas. Dr. Namerow teaches two courses at the School of Public Health: "Quantitative Research Methods" and "Current Issues in Sexual Health". Dr. Namerow has been the principal investigator on several NIH-funded projects as well as on projects sponsored by private foundations. Dr. Namerow serves on the Columbia University Medical Center's Institutional Review Board, and she has also collaborated on several clinical trials with faculty in the Department of Medicine's Division of Cardiology.
