Course Description Fundamentals of Toxicology explains the toxic effects of chemicals (including drugs and other agents) on living organisms and provides an overview of the history, mechanisms, and regulatory applications of toxicology. Toxic effects (including cancer) in digestive, respiratory, cardiovascular, nervous, hematopoetic, immune, dermal, urinary, and reproductive systems form the major portion of the course. Members of chemical classes are used as examples. |
