Course Description This course is a required introductory course taken in the first semester for all students specializing in Environmental Health Sciences. Faculty within the department present on their roles within EHS, focusing on their research and courses. They also discuss employment opportunities and current trends in the field of environmental health sciences. Attendance is required for all EHS students. Multiple sessions are presented on the topic of professionalism, networking and career advising and support. These sessions are to help prepare and position EHS members to be “professional students” including having successful engagements with faculty, peers and future employers, both within the classroom and beyond. Additional guests include current doctoral students and alumni of our MPH program. |
